    after spending wayyyy too much time with darktables negadoctor module and some other free negative conversion software, i’ve accepted the manual way is the best, at least for now. i’ll keep trying automated programs (excited for the negative lab pro standalone release), but i’ll also work on improving my manual inversions.
    it’s a little challenging getting the colors right being colorblind, but that’s what friends are for.

    is pretty cool. lots of big old machines to see (apparently they do guided tours where they turn some of the machines on occasionally, hoping to see that next time). apparently there were a lot of firsts in baltimore, like the first umbrella with dye other than black that wouldn’t bleed, and at one time the majority of hats sold in america were made here.
